22 Investor Databases ~400k+ Investors (Updated August 17)

As a Founder and investor I’m consistently trying to find ways to give back to a community which has been very generous to me. Part of that is creating a more open, democratised and transparent ecosystem for startup funding. I wrote a tweet yesterday collating databases and networks of startup investors. It was more popular than I expected, generating at the time of writing close to half a million impressions. Thank you to everyone who shared it.

3. Gritt by Adrien Moreau Camard - Investor database focussed on Angel investors, completely free. Filterable. Awesome product. Adrien is also building something cool in the B2B SaaS space

4. Active Angels by Trace Cohen - Database of active angel investors including contact details

5. Investor Scout - database of 37k+ investors (though requires payment)

6. This Week in Startups Slack community by Jason - network of Founders and Active angel investors (38k+)

7. Odin - by Paddy and Mary - network of mainly European Founders and Angel investors

8. GenZVCs by Meagan Loyst - community of 10k+ VCs and Angels

9. Signal by NFX - 11,393 investors filterable by stage, sector and other factors

10. The Ultimate List of Seed Funds by Matt Estes - Google sheet with 797 Seed Funds with investment stage and categories ranked by number of investments in each sector

11. US Female Angels by Lolita Taub - List of 500+ female Angel investors, predominantly based in the US

12. Angel Investors from Diverse Backgrounds - 591 diverse Angels - if anyone knows who put this together, let me know

13. Seedscout by Mat Sherman - this is a database you should add your startup too - Mat sends out regular emails with all new startups to qualified investors subscribed

19. Startuplist Africa - a platform for connecting startups in Africa with active investors

20. Health Tech Venture Investor Database - Database of 200+ Health Tech VCs

21. Non-VC Funding Sources for SaaS Founders by Dan Martell - 200+ resources for taking alternative routes to Venture Capital for SaaS Founders

22. Foundersuite by Nathan Beckord - an extensive product with 208k+ (!) investors and a wide range of features to take you beyond just outreach. It is paid, but seems to be one of the most functional databases out there and you get 40% off with the code AlexMacRocks
